From Mental Slavery to Intuitive Certainty

Adapted from Intuitive Certainty: Where Intuition, Faith and Divine Timing Meet

In my book, Intuitive Certainty, I use phrases to describe my experience: mental slavery, pings, Whos, and intuitive certainty. As you read, you may recognize them in your own life.

Perhaps you’ve spent years trusting other people’s opinions more than your own judgment. You overthink decisions, try to control outcomes, and dismiss your feelings when you can’t explain them. That’s what I call mental slavery: when the mind becomes the master and fear sounds logical.

Letting go of that control makes room to recognize your God-given intuition. It may come through a gut feeling or a sudden flash of insight. I call these pings. You may realize you’ve felt them before but talked yourself out of listening.

As you begin paying attention, synchronicities may take on new meaning. A conversation comes when you need encouragement. An unexpected introduction leads to an opportunity. You begin considering whether what you’ve called coincidence might be God’s timing.

You may also recognize your Whos: the people God brings into your life to help you move forward. Accepting their support means letting them help you instead of carrying everything alone.

These experiences help you understand what I mean by intuitive certainty. You can trust your intuition, act with faith, and stop waiting for everyone else to agree.

What might you do differently if you stopped letting fear have the final say?
